A Hopi ear candle is a cotton tube, rather than a traditional 'candle', that is painlessly inserted into the initial opening to the ear. The warmth from the candle draws out impurities, relieves pressure in the head and sinuses, and aids hearing problems. The feeling of warmth through the head is also extremely comforting.
When lit, the ear candle produces a light suction action. This is known as the 'chimney principle', and works by drawing impurities gently to the surface, where they can be removed.
There are various types of candle made with different therapeutic oils, each having different benefits. I have a selection for you to choose from.
